I received seeds of these Nepenthes aristolochioides plants from Adrian Y. Wartono back in 2009 after he got back from his Sumatra expedition.
Being a highland Neps, aristo requires cool night and hot day. As the climate in Bandung is not favorable for aristo, I decided to modify my refrigerator as a cool house.
Amazingly the seeds germinated and two years later the plants become miniature plants with typical aristo pitcher shape, patterns and colors, the only difference is that these pitchers look like miniature version of those found in the nature. They are the bonsai of Nepenthes aristolochioides. Enjoy!
